Why Pangaea Life?
A Holistic Approach to College Planning
Parents hire us to educate and guide their student and themselves through the college preparation process. Our vision is to educate students before they make two very important decisions in their lives, career choice and college selection. We are determined and passionate about making sure all students reach their full potential and get the help they deserve.
To students, Katie is the older, wiser big sister who knows how to get from high school to the right college, and she’ll help you do it.
To parents, Katie is the person who sees to it that the job gets done -- and everybody in the family still loves everybody through the whole process.
Katie is young and fun enough to relate to students. But her drive, motivation and professional skills make her a parent’s best friend, as she makes the student’s college search and admission her priority.
Meet Katie
Katie Jane (pronounced jah-NAY) was born and raised in the U.S.’s most international city, Miami, the first of her family to be born in this country. Her lovable parents had no idea how to help her choose and get through college. But Katie’s determination and skill not only got her into college but she had so many scholarships, that she was basically paid to attend school!
Katie was motivated and achieved, including graduating from high school in the top six percent of her class, already with 16 college credits, a member of National Honor Society, Student Government President, an athlete, and other significant extracurriculars.

China joined Pangaea Life as the Executive Assistant to Katie Jane. Having been one of Katie’s former students, China graduated high school in the International Baccalaureate program at the top one percent of her class with Summa Cum Laude honors.
China worked with Katie since her freshman year of high school until her senior year when she was then accepted to 12 out of the 13 universities that she applied to, with substantial scholarship and grant offerings.
However, she decided to take a gap year to pursue her dream of living and studying Ayurveda and Yoga in India. Upon her return, China completed her first Bachelor Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and Religious Studies at
Florida International University in under five semesters, where she graduated with Magna Cum Laude honors.
China is now living in Colorado, pursing a second Bachelor Degree at the University of Colorado Denver in Nursing, where she plans to continue her studies as a Nurse Practitioner in Acute Pediatric Care with a focus on hematology-oncology.

Meaning of Pangaea Life
We called our company Pangaea Life because we want our students to remember that we all came from the same place at one point in time. We may have different cultures and backgrounds, but we share the same fundamental principles that unify us as human beings.
Knowing this, we believe that students should not be afraid to explore colleges outside of their comfort zone such as in different countries, or surrounded by a different culture. We believe in a well-rounded education that provides a holistic approach to the student that both nurtures their dreams, desires, and passions, and also brings them new and exciting experiences.
